The Georgia Senior Games were held last week in Warner-Robbins, Georgia, as a part of the National Senior Games (NSGA) -- competitive sports for 50+ athletes. The top three finishers in each state meet qualify to go to NSGA nationals held every other year in a different state. (In 2017 they are in Birmingham, AL.) Some games are very well attended and the competition is very intense. Some states are more middle of the road and the competition is not so rigorous.
